HydroSlope installation on a railroad bridge deck
Primer and membrane go on the deck first. FT-7000 then goes down in layers of progressively narrower width, and the steps add up to a rise over a run that carries water to a half-round deck drain. Ballast and track go on top.

Illustrative only. Membrane and FT-7000 layer thicknesses follow the 80 and 250 mil ratio, but the primer (10 mils) is drawn thicker than its true relative thickness so it stays visible. Drain size and track proportions are exaggerated or simplified, and the drawing is not to scale or an installation specification. The ballast, ties and rail stop partway along the span so the layers and drain stay visible.
